'LE PRIX DEHORS DE NOUS' 2007
Die Cajun Roosters und ihre CD ‘Crank it up’ wurden in Louisiana im August 2007 mit dem ‚Prix dehors de nous’ ausgezeichnet. Dieser Preis ist Bands ausserhalb Louisianas vorbehalten und wird einmal im Jahr von einer 10 köpfigen Jury ausgewählt.
Alle anderen Preise gehen an verdiente Musiker aus Louisiana und sind der Grammy der Cajunmusik.
Die Cajun Roosters gehören damit zu den Besten Cajunbands weltweit.
